Mind, Consciousness, Humanity
Is consciousness the product of the brain? Is my consciousness mine alone? How is consciousness connected to others? What if the division of me & not-me in consciousness can dissolve?
Our brain is the result of time, evolution. Our brain is not your brain and my brain, but the brain of mankind. This is difficult for you to see, and even recognize, because we have been so conditioned that it is my brain. And it is your brain. But if you observe, human beings right throughout the world go through enormous turmoil, poverty, anxiety, insecurity, confusion, psychologically wounded, fear, fear of being hurt, physically, fear of psychological hurts, fear of death, and the enquiry, what is there beyond…
That is the content of our consciousness. And as long as there’s that content, which is always divisive, which is always fragmented, our action must be fragmented. Right?
So the problem then is: is it possible for the content of that consciousness to be dissolved?

JK was genius, super intelligent, creatively intelligent, simple, honest and loving . His teachings will ever remain useful to the society who can understand the depth of his teaching. Such learning from JK is most beneficial to any student for their own evolution into good human beings. Best bet is to learn from JK and then create and design your own religion, design your own life style. Without order at physical level, mental level and psychological level there could not be pleasant life journey with full of freedom of mind and with beauty of good relationship without any conflicts.
My answer is yes, it is possible for the consciousness to transform, dissolve, re-awake, break-through. Context is the most relevant idea and language is the most relevant topic. And a scientific approach is, without question, in my opinion, the only way for a neolithic mind set to have this conversation. If it were not for technology most of us monkeys with money, guns, and whiskey would not be having this moment. love
I love these videos! so profound, easy to share and in a format that many people will watch I think.
After many years of doing minfulness I realised I was not sure what meditation was.I had stopped following the breath , which I been taught to follow, just observed my thoughts .Some thoughts were about what I had read in the news, some were judgements about others and so on..
I then began to do qigung which I found to quieten the mind quickly .I can be in my body, K has been a great help to me to break away from various groups and find my own way of choiceless awareness, fom ideas of others.Thank you K , you are still a light shining in the dark.

The actual subject matter i.e. “consciousness” is painfully not there in the write up. Is it material, non-material, particle or wave ? The locations & the actual form of consciousness in human and universe are not clearly defined. Details about its birth, death, evolution, transformation, inter relation with death, super consciousness, God are not clarified. Please reply.

Jiddu Krishnamurti & Eugene Schallert say in ‘Goodness only Flowers in Freedom’ something like:
The supposed we (me and the other[s]) is really only one, me and humanity are only one: there is no such thing as me and not me/the rest of the universe… Being conscious is loving as a universal unity or whole—undividedly…The me cannot get rid of itself… If it is not a question of a process, then the mind must be emptied in one shot – consciously— the me falls dead giving way to love, as a living entity and consciousness, to choicelessly be — as a total undivided attention… And when you come upon it, you leave the door open; let the living sun come in if it wishes to do so. And whether it comes in or not is tranquilly alright (pursuing it, like any other me-process, closes the door)…
The inheritance of instincts tells us about consciousness. A pheasant will if possible run along the ground before taking flight. Ancestral birds were injured or terrified by gunshots when in the air. That registered in their consciousness and was somehow passed down as an instinct. When “scientists” say consciousness arises only with brains they mean self-consciousness. Incidentally the inheritance of instincts shows all creatures have souls (as the book of Job 12;10 says.)
I sympathise with the post by S.Datta. I think we can say consciousness is the combination and resolution of many tiny perceptions. I began with Leibniz who said the primary particles of the Universe are definable only by perceptions. That makes the problem of how do they become material entities. We can say, though, that they emerge within a greater consciousness which existed before the Universe. Development of the Universe is probably towards a reflection of that.
Philosopher Edmund Husserl hinted that a science of consciousness may underpin all the other sciences. That matches the ideas of |Leibniz. So the most basic and most important question scientists have yet to answer is “What exactly is consciousness?” I contacted experts about the variety of touch perceptions we have, and although they are good with categories like hot/cold, rough/smooth and so on they are very weak when saying the variety of sensations are carried from our fingers to our brain “By an electric current.” It must be obvious to them that current would need to be much more complex than the simple flow ;of electrons they describe. Then they have to explain how the perceptions are distinguished on arrival in the brain.
MY BRAIN IT IS BLANK TO SAY OR WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT IT
I discovered the secret of consciousness as a youngster when I did not seek reality as the information on which it is based can be false. Hence at adulthood my consciousness and subconsciousness were at one, not cluttered with perceptions or generalizations. I thus concentrated on living my life in a bubble free from the troubles of the world. I ask why do you need to seek reality as the basis of it is normally unobtainable and not needed to live life e.g. having a general view of the NHS when a complete audit is required and the information is not necessary. I say this is the way the brain should operate – objectively v subjectively.
